Pre-flight Safety Demonstration

Ladies and gentlemen, please bear with me for some pre-departure information.

First, and most important: I hope everyone likes the title. After much deliberation by family and friends, I'd like to thank Chloe for recognizing the verb tense of Squire. Please feel free to look it up. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

Second: I leave on Wednesday, September 3rd (so soon!). My itinerary from then on: Sept 4-8 -- Istanbul, Turkey; September 8-10 -- Budapest, Hungary; September 11-14 -- Prague, Czech Republic; September 14-16 -- Berlin, Germany; and September 16-December 18 -- London (for the most part!). The posts will most likely begin once I get back to London, but look forward to lots of pictures and stories of Turkish baths, kebabs, wurst, 5 different currencies, and much, much more.

Third: Once in London, I'll be studying at University College London (UCL to those in the know), in the Regent's Park/Marylebone (pronounced MAR-luh-buhn) area of London. I'm enrolled in both the Bartlett School of Urban Planning and the History department.

Now buckle up your seat belts and check back in a couple of weeks! And in case you're wondering, I still haven't started packing. Wish me luck.
